If there were room charges, like for a rate, taxes or anything charged back to the room, then we could issue you a physical copy of the receipt. It's not an actually charge just a hold so there won't be an actual physical copy on a receipt. Once we check the room out of the system, we immediately release the hold, but it can take 7 to 10 business days from that point to receive the credit back on your statement. Now the $40 deposit is definitely refunded back to you. I know this was an inconvenience for you and I do apologize for that. In order for us to successfully transition, we had to take all the systems down and run proper checks on the new systems.
